My Story
A little about me, and what it's like to work together.
I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can finally exhale.
A place where you don't have to hold it all together, have the right words, or pretend things are okay when they aren't. You can laugh, cry, vent, ask questions, sit with the hard stuff, or simply take a breath. However you show up, there's room for you here.
My approach to therapy is warm, honest, and collaborative. I bring more than my clinical training into the room. I bring my heart, my humor, and my belief that meaningful change happens when we feel safe enough to be ourselves. I'll meet you with compassion, listen without judgment, and help you explore the things that may be keeping you stuck. I'll also gently challenge you when it feels helpful, because I believe you deserve more than a space to talk. You deserve support that helps you move forward.
I'm especially passionate about helping people navigate trauma, PTSD, and the lasting effects of difficult experiences. I also understand that finding your footing isn't always about one particular event. Sometimes it's about feeling disconnected from yourself, carrying more than you let on, or wondering how to find meaning in a life that feels different than you expected. Wherever you're starting, we'll work together to understand your experiences, build on your strengths, and figure out what healing looks like for you.
I believe deeply in kindness, connection, and the healing power of humor. Life can be heavy, and therapy can ask a lot of us, but every moment doesn't have to be serious for the work to matter. You can be honest here. You can be imperfect here. You can be a whole human being here.
And outside the therapy room...
When I'm not working, you'll probably find me walking my dog (who is fully convinced I'm employed by him), sitting in the dreaded school car line, or exploring the trails and green spaces around Atlanta. I'm a lifelong learner who values continued education and finding meaningful ways to grow, both personally and professionally.
I've also intentionally built a practice with a smaller caseload because I believe good therapy requires time, attention, and genuine investment in the people sitting across from me. I want our work to feel thoughtful and personal, not rushed or one-size-fits-all.
At the end of the day, I'm a person who believes people matter, connection matters, and no one should have to figure everything out alone.
If you're looking for a therapist who will meet you with warmth, honesty, and a little humor along the way, I'd be glad to connect.
